Allergy costs met!

We are so happy that we chose Nationwide once again for our new puppy. He has unfortunately been diagnosed with some severe allergies and Nationwide had been great in providing the coverage to meet his treatment needs!

My own health insurance should be so good!

Nationwide Pet Insurance is so simple and so good! The vet submits the invoice and within a week I get 90 % of my costs back. I can check on the status at anytime. Nothing has been excluded. I told my Human Resources department at work our health insurance should be as good and as simple.

Great!

Nationwide has been great! Whenever i have called in the staff is always friendly and helpful. I've received my checks within a month of filing a claim. Ive had the insurance since december and within the last month ive started using it and so far it has been wonderful! Thank you to everyone at nationwide. My beagle Bailey is my baby and my life and he means the world to me.

Porter's Eye Injury

Porter is, at times, a rambunctious big puppy. When he came into the house one morning after playing out in the backyard, his left eye was swollen, and sunken in at the same time, red around the edges and dark where the iris was. We took him in to our local vet who recommended an ophthalmologist. With the pet insurance in place, Porter has had great care. The eye has returned to almost normal and there seems to be no issue with sight. We are so fortunate to have this insurance. They are very quick to reimburse our out of pocket expenses and with a 130 lb puppy we foresee future expenditures in our future.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
