Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

Cody recently had a hot spot for which he had to see the vet. I submitted a claim for the visit and received prompt reimbursement. So far Nationwide has been responsive and very user friendly.

I love the ease of submitting my claim information right from my phone and having the benefits direct deposited into my account. It doesn’t get easier than that!

I find claims easy to submit from my phone using the Vet app. I also like that money is deposited into my bank acct. the only problem I have is that neutering under 1 year was not covered for my dog. I am a responsible pet lover of a non show quality, companion dog. I am going to have my pet neutore....it is the right thing to do. Nationwide you should cover neutering, it is the right thing to do. I purchased the plan with the most coverage I could get and neutering is not covered under 1 year.

Nationwide covers my Lily’s Eyelid Agenesis . Wich means she didn’t develop eyelids . When I found out she needed skin graph surgery to help her close her eye more and keep her eyes from infection it brought me to tears but I felt like I had the support of her pet insurance to get her the best care possible . She had a successful surgery, she continues to get care every 2-4 months to follow up . She will forever need eye meds. But she is such a happy cat, and if I didn’t have Nationwide I wouldn’t of been able to provide her with all the medical care she needs. If she didn’t have the procedures done she probably would of had to have her eyes removed based on their constant exposure and no protection, getting eye ulcers and constant infection due to her hair being in her eyes all the time . Im am forever greatful that Nationwide offers coverage for her eyes and genetic issue .
