Great customer service, slow turn around time
The customer service with Nationwide was fabulous, however the turn around time for receiving our refund was a bit longer than I would have preferred.

Thank you for honoring the coverage I have.
Great insurance. I wish the portal had more user friendly information about the claims u submit so they can be referenced when necessary. The portal is very limited. Would love to be able to get things preapproved if necessary to know whether procedure can be done. That’s one that would ease a lot of stress.

A definite value to me and my canine companion
I have submitted two claims so far. The first claim covered most of my $250 deductible. But the next claim I filed was covered to 90% of the last vet bill. I was delighted that the claim was paid quickly and the payment process was outstanding, I will continue our coverage as it is very good. Thanks.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
