I have all my dogs insured with Nationwide and I REALLY REALLY recommend this company over any of them, I HAVE done my homework!

My Zeus had major surgery and it cost a lot, first time having to use the insurance for a emergency and I was very very happy on how much they covered, let alone the routine visits

Good coverage, good support, create a great piece of mind.

We got Nationwide pet insurance the day we rescued Barley. Its a goof plan and the way to interact with them over claims is pretty good. I like the fact that everything can be done electronically and updates are frequent. All in all, a great choice.

Need higher caps for older dogs as that they require more care.

Your company has done a great job insuring two of my three dogs. However. as the dog ages the health issues increase. I would be willing to pay a higher premium to have some of the cost offset. Sometimes the medicine alone is $200 plus. That is a lot out pocket cost.

Pet Insurance worth fees but incomprehensible for NO reimbursement of: Hip/Joint/oral/other preventative medicine/supplements :(

It's time for Pet Insurance to get in alignment with actually caring for our pets. Yes, pet insurance is worth premiums/fees, but it is incomprehensible that there is absolutely NO reimbursement of Hip, Joint, Gums, Teeth, or any other preventative medicine/supplements to help our pets AVOID the malady/illness/surgery in the first place. :( It's unreasonable that there is absolutely NO reimbursement, for example, of teeth cleaning. We all know that having healthy teeth and gums prevents many other illnesses including cardiac conditions that can lead to death. Most pets do not cooperate with owners brushing their teeth and dental cleaning at the vet is required to keep our pets healthy.

Always taking care of my pitbull

Dalton is always taken care of under Nationwide. I bought pet insurance at the perfect time as my pitbull is about to turn 5. He has been developing allergy problems, anxiety and ear problems. When i take Dalton to the vet I submit the claim online and i get reimbursed in no time. Nationwide has been a pleasure to deal with. I have not had one issue with them since I got my dog insured.
