Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

Our first time having pet insurance! The support and assistance we have received make referring Nationwide to our friends and vet, easy to sell! Thank you for looking out for our fur babies and we will never be without pet insurance from Nationwide again!

Overall we are pleased with our experience and the coverage. its a relief knowing that we have coverage in the event something truly catastrophic were to happen. My only complaint would be the claims administration process. On three occasions, the claims processors have stated that my claims were not accompanied by a receipt. When i go back and review the email where i submitted the claim, all 3 had perfectly legible copies of the vet bill attached. All this does is take up extensive time on my part to re-research which claim is being referred to and re-submit and it feels like an attempt by progressive to get out of paying anything.

I've never experienced such good response from any company before - so easy and so efficient. Thank you Nationwide for having such great pet insurance coverage.

The coverage provided is good, and customer service is excellent. However, the processing time on claims (even those that are submitted electronically) is extremely slow - some of my claims have taken over 1 month to be processed and reimbursed.

I am so pleased with Nationwide. They are very prompt in processing claims I submit. They also have a user-friendly website. I would certainly recommend them to any pet parent. Thank you Nationwide.
