Eager to classify anything as a pre-existing condition

We received a Corgi puppy on the day our insurance coverage was scheduled to start - July 1. When we took him to the vet the following day, the vet discovered a Urinary Tract Infection and prescribed antibiotics plus a follow-up urinalysis. Nationwide refused to cover those expenses as pre-existing conditions, even though the puppy had never seen a veterinarian before. Hopefully the service improves from here. I do like that Nationwide is covering preventative care like heart worm and flea prevention meds through their Wellness coverage.

Quicker turn around time

30 days is a long time to wait to get our money back. If someone has all the correct documentation it should be 2 weeks or less. Other companies are giving 7 day guarantees

Invoice Receipt & Acknowledgement Needs Fixed

I have filed several claims for our Lab and have received the anticipated reimbursements but not after some trouble every single time. There is no acknowledgement of receipt (or failure to receive) the invoice images until you wait 2 weeks for them to look at it and then just say they can't pay anything because they didn't get the receipts. Their mail server does not bounce anything back if it's over the limit. There is simply no response. I have had claims go on for months because I have to send the invoices, not get any response, then in 2 weeks I get the automated that they don't have the invoices and repeat the process. And they require FAX if the invoices don't come across. Who uses fax nowadays? They need a confirmation process on emails AND someone/process to respond that invoices were/were not received without making someone wait 2 weeks for every new communication.

This insurance plan is worth every dollar spent on it.

I've never had pet insurance in the past for my dogs but with Dublin we thought it was worth looking into and based on recommendations from other pet owners we decided to sign up. It is worth every dollar spent and the coverage has been more than I expected, especially for the wellness portion. So glad we took the "plunge".

I appreciate how friendly and helpful the Representatives are and the amount of time the claims are settled in. Thank you.

How nice that you care enough about Kelsie to ask how she is doing after surgery. So far I am happy that I have Nationwide Pet Ins.
