Nationwide pet insurance is hassle free and worth every penny.

I have 2 dogs and if I didn't have pet insurance I would have already spent thousands in healthcare for them out of pocket this year. I have the whole pet wellness plan and it covers everything from injuries to prevententive services. I submit my claims online and usually get paid within a week. Everything is so easy and hassle free. I could not be happier with this company.

Excellent Coverage and Customer Service

I have had my two Labradors covered by Nationwide since they were insurable (back when it was VPI). One of them has been been to the vet fairly frequently and the other, just for annual checkups. This insurance and the people behind it are fantastic. Now that my dogs are older, it gives me comfort to know I will be able to afford good care as things begin to go wrong in their latter years.Thanks for the years of helpful answers and I love that I live in New York City, so I'm especially happy I am no longer paid from a list of scheduled allowances for a specific service. I mail my forms in and wait for a check.to come to me, so my turnaround time is much longer than those who do it online. Thanks, Nationwide!!!

Great Insurance Policy

We are so glad we got this policy. You never know what will happen to your pet and this policy gives us peace of mind about covering any unexpected expenses AS WELL AS THE WELLNESS POLICY. The wellness policy is a huge benefit in helping us keep our dog healthy and happy. We have recommended this policy to many of our friends.

It is Great to be cover by Nationwide !

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
