"Could not be happier"

Very pleased I decided to purchase Nationwide pet Insurance for my Hope. I can rest easily knowing that she will get the care she needs at anytime. I will always have pet insurance. Hope has had 2 bouts with Pancreatitis and has recovered.. Relieved I purchased the insurance. Claim turn around time is a bit longer than I expected, but important thing is I am getting reimbursed directly to my checking account!

Comfort in knowing they help with the financial side

It's great to know that as the bill's pile on, we can have the assurance that the insurance helps to alleviate the situation. I rescue dogs so I never know what there background is so having the insurance gives me piece in mind when taking them in for wellness visits or injuried.

Very reliable insurance company, with the best coverage.

I am very pleased with the insurance coverage. Claims are easily processed within 30 days. NO hassle at all. The agents are very knowledgeable.

Necessary

I think Nationwide Pet Insurance is an asset to have when owning a pet. My dog unfortunately has had more medical issues than I would have expected to have, however, his health is a top priority to me and my family. And we feel having Nationwide Pet Insurance helps with the increasing costs of Veterinarian services.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
