Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

We have had 9 pets over the years - 7 dogs and 2 cats. They have all been insured by Veterinary Pet Insurance and then Nationwide the past few years. It has been so reassuring to know that if they became sick or injured that it would not become an issue of euthanizing because we could not afford treatment. The settlement of claims has always been timely and fair. Wouldn't have a pet without enrollment with Nationwide. Thank you for being there in times of need.

Nationwide processed my claims quickly and efficiently. The process was simple from beginning to end and to top that off I was pleasantly surprised to get an email from Nationwide checking on my canine son. We're both happy. Thanks Nationwide!

I wish the turnaround time was a little quicker to receive reimbursement, but besides that this insurance has been great! I've had no issues with claims, love the app through VitusVet, and customer service is always helpful!

It's annual enrollment time at Home Depot for 2019 benefits. One of our "perks" is being able to sign our pets up via Nationwide for health benefits. I completed out the application yesterday but only half of my last name transmitted....Im pretty sure this was due to my error! I was a little concerned that this may cause a problem re: payroll deductions with my home office. I called Nationwide during my lunch hour today and spoke with a wonderful rep named Alexis! She was fantastic....she put me at ease...corrected my info and even took the time to double check with her supervisor to make sure we had everything covered! Did I mention how PLEASANT she was? She really was great...articulate...easy to understand! You are lucky to have her! Because of this interaction, I now know that I picked the right insurance company to provide health benefits to my Lola!
