Awesome coverage!

My dog Dutch had to have a couple of procedures done to get him feeling better. Without Nationwide insurance, it would not have been possible for me to afford the procedures. I am so thankful and appreciative of not only the coverage, but how quickly the process moved along so I could receive the necessary payments.

Outstanding customer service

I have been a long time customer I originally was signed up with VPI and nationwide bought them. To say I’m happy with nationwide is an understatement! Luckily, my dog is over 10 and this is the first year I’ve actually had a claim. I have told all of our friends who have pets to use nationwide, and a lot of them has listened to me

Wonderful coverage.

VPI and Nationwide have been great for my puggle Jack. As he gets older and heading for that rainbow bridge he has more issues but Nationwide has been very generous and caring. I recommend them from a pet's young age.

Very happy with Pet Insurance

Been very happy with having Pet Insurance. I thought about cancelling at 1 time, but glad I didn't. With Reagan's allergies it got expensive this year. Now that we know what she's allergic to, hoping to have less Dr visits in the future.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
