Great coverage, fast repayment, super happy

I'm thrilled with Nationwide. I got insurance for my Persian kitten early because I know of the health problems Persians can have based on past experience. Nationwide has been great about coverage. No visits or medications have been turned down. Repayments for vet visits and medication are fast. Whenever I've called, the staff are nice. Highly recommend.

Great insurance coverage and care

I have been consistently happy and amazed at the coverage Nationwide has provided for Sushi. It was surprising all that was covered for her. Everything from vet visits to allergy meds. When I had any questions, each person I spoke with was genuinely concerned and wondered about how my pit bull was/is doing. Our pet care bills would have been easily over $1000 with our recent mass cell tumor checks alone, not to mention the strange and random ripping off of her toenail. I highly recommend getting Nationwide insurance for your furbaby!

Great pet Insurance company

My four legged son has been insured with this company since he was a puppy. Nationwide pet insurance is a great company, all my claims had been paid with no problems.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
