AMAZING COMPANY/REMARKABLE COVERAGE

Our decision to invest in a Nationwide policy soon after our puppy's arrival was perhaps the best decision we've ever made! We considered this option at our initial vet visit only after a seasoned tech suggested: " If you don't have health insurance, get it! Nationwide is the best. " We could not be more grateful, and frankly, even surprised by the last 18 months of generous, supportive, and hassle-free coverage. "Murphy" is perfect in every way, however he has had a myriad of chronic and serious health issues which would have been a significant financial hardship had it not been for Nationwide. The wellness benefit is wonderful, and is a reminder of the importance of preventative tests/meds to keep Fletch healthy.

I am highly satisfied with my policy which includes major medical and wellness benefits for Fletch. It provides peace of mind knowing that he has coverage just like I have medical insurance coverage.

Great company, good customer service, I'd highly recommend you to other pet owners

I'm really enjoying using the direct payment system you folks have in place through Chase Bank; I get my reimbursements much quicker & easier than through the "snail" mail.

The plan works better than a thought

I was surprised that my dog actually had some coverage since he had so many weird issues. I'm an insurance agent and after receiving and reading the policy it seemed nothing was covered but I was wrong. Vertu happy to have some assistance with his ongoing medical needs

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
