Great Insurance

This is a great insurance! They quickly process my claims. They deposit the funds directly into my account. When I had a problem once, it was resolved quickly.

Response To Claims

Claims are taking 30 days for a decision, but could be faster especially when all documents provided or should set expectations as to why taking 30 days. You make great strides at notification when claim received via email, but more notification should occur during process.

VPI Nationwide is on your pet's side!

People still cannot believe I have insurance on my dogs. In this case Layla (who is 10) has a history of a corneal ulcer of her left eye. Thank God for this pet insurance...reimbursement on this claim helped. Layla has scarring from the corneal ulcer along with dry eye. We are managing that well with artificial tears. And if she ever has anymore eye issues or an illness I am rest assured that she will be taken care of because I lived and cared enough to provide her coverage thru pet insurance.

Improving

My first claim was delayed because of service issues. This claim was played quickly with no delay.

Not worth it.

Nationwide kept saying I only had a $50 deductable for my dog and her cancer treatments. Don't believe them EVER! They just paid whatever they felt like and I was not reimbursed properly. I tried to call and complain, yet they didn't seem to understand anything. They didn't seem to understand a tumor and cancer are the same thing. It didn't seem to matter to them that we are trying to save my son's service dog. They just want to deny claims instead. So frustrated!
