Awesome!

I had to file 2 claims within a couple days of each other and Nationwide took care of both of them within 3 weeks. They were quick and it was easy to go online and see the progress of the claims. I would recommend Nationwide to anybody with a pet. They are awesome.

Good insurance coverage

Have pretty good coverage and super easy to work with. The only problem I have had is not being able to get the bigger better coverage because I give my dog supplements that are recommended by the vet for joint health.

I do get reviews very timely and if I am entitled to reimbursement it comes very timely.The cost has become very expensive.

The insurance has gone quite a lot in the last two years.

Couldn’t be happier with Nationwide!

I am so happy that we decided to go with Nationwide Pet Insurance. Not only do they make the stress of vet bills easier knowing that we can get money back, the claims process is so quick and easy. Their customer service is outstanding, and anytime that I have called to ask a question they are so friendly, helpful, and genuinely care how my dog is doing. I highly recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
