It took quite a while but the results were very good
It took a while for a group of claims on Mimi to be processed but the payout was better than I expected.

I’m glad we have insurance with Nationwide
I’m glad I have insurance with Nationwide.
My dog had a Surgery on his spinal cord at the beginning of January 2019, his back legs were paralyzed. After a surgery he need a long time physical therapy, and he still in the hospital. The cost is so high, that I would be able to afford to pay for surgery and PT without Nationwide. Nationwide covers 90% of our cost, which I’m really happy. With Nationwide we can continue PT for Charlie as long as he needs in order to start walking again and get back to his normal life.
We love our Charlie, he is a part of our family and I can’t even imagine if I had to give up on surgery because of the expenses.

Been very happy with Nationwide Pet Insurance
We took out Nationwide pet insurance on Willow when we purchased her, after having a sad experience with our previous dog (uninsured) having major surgery and having cancer after the surgery. We had to put her down. When I talked with the Nationwide Agent about insurance for Willow, she was very helpful, clear about what was and wasn't covered and she made me feel sure this was the correct decision. Thankfully we have had no major health issues with Willow so far (she is 17 months old), just a couple upper respiratory infections. We have actually gotten back more on what we have paid to the vets, than what the monthly premium is. And the peace of mind knowing if we face a major problem down the road, Nationwide is there for us and Willow is priceless. I highly recommend Nationwide to all my friends and family.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
