I think having insurance on Matisse is the best decision I have ever made
I think pet insurance is one of the most important thing you can have for your dog besides a loving home & good food.. It gives one a peace of mind that if your loved one has a serious problem, they are there to help with the expenses.

Fast and reliable and nice customer service.
I initially submitted my claim through the website but the attachment didn’t go through to Nationwide for some reason. So I called and they were very easy to work with and offered overall great customer service. I had to call a couple times for some follow up questions and each time I had really nice and patient people helping me out. Once I completed the claim process, it was super easy and fast.

I'm so grateful that I have Nationwide coverage for my dog!
I have a 5 year old female Rottweiler named Sophie. When I got her I immediately signed her up for Nationwide coverage through my employer. I cannot explain the relief it is to have the security of this coverage as she's had two surgeries for torn ACL's that were covered along with regular and sick visits. I never have to worry about the veterinary expenses anymore because the majority of my expenses are covered.
I previously owned a Rottweiler and didn't have the security of nationwide coverage and when she was ill it became a challenge to pay for her veterinary expenses,
I would never be without this type of coverage again!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
