Excellent compared to what's out there

The policy I have for my dog is excellent though pricey. Usually my claims were processed quickly however twice they took way too long (I received my payment just before the before the alloted time you have to process payments was up) despite my having signed up for direct deposit. With the amount I am paying that was not ok. I love that my policy covers 90%, covers 90% of preventative heartworm and flea and tick prevention too and that the deductible is only 100 per year. I have recommended you friends and associates. However I do NOT like the "pre-existing condition" garbage that all insurance policies have even though fortunately it does not apply to my pet. I thought it was garbage pre-Obama when it was on human's insurance policies as well and wouldn't you know there are idiots in this world that want to bring it back. In case you haven't figured it out, people and animals that are sick or have "pre-existing" conditions are most in need. Are they supposed to die? Please ask yourselves, in particular have your executives and CEO how they would feel if they didn't have money and were told "sorry, we won't pay for your health condition because it was pre-existing." Consider cutting your CEO and executive paychecks and lowering your prices, and yes, include poor sweet pets who have the misfortune of having pre-existing conditions. The price of healthcare needs to be drastically cut for both humans and animals in this country!! It's out of control. And yes I am speaking up about this!!!

Best Investment for Pet Care Ever!

National Pet Insurance was the best decision I made to care for my Rocky Boy! I adopted him about a year ago and he had little health history available. In his adoption package was the brochure of your services and I’m so thankful I signed up with you. Your staff is well informed and always courteous and professional. Submitting claims are easy and covered items paid promptly.

Good communication

My dog has been to the doctor several times, and Nationwide has processed the claims in a timely manner, and sent emails throughout the process. I am very satisfied with the company.
