Claim turn around time is improving
I'm happy to see the claim turn around time improving. It would be more efficient if a claim form wasn't required with every claim. I am shocked at my recent rate increase for one dog to an additional $60/mo premium. I can't recommend at this time because I'm waiting to see what the rate increase will be on my other dogs policies. I am happy with what is covered and at the rate; this is the reason to have pet insurance. I'll never be without it again.

Pretty happy with my Insurance
I reviewed many companies before choosing Nation Wide, and only them offered wellness care included, which was very important to me as I didnt want an insurance only for emergencies.
So as soon as I got my cat I did put him on the Nation wide plan, he has gotten vaccines and wellness visits, and I have been refunded every time, the process to file claims is easy. A few photos and that's it. It takes a little bit to get refunded but other than that I'm a pretty satisfied customer!

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
