Coverage of Lotti's Nail Trimming
It was nice to see that this small visit to the vet for the trim of Lotti's nails was covered fully. It makes it much easier for us to have the vet trim her nails rather than for us to try and get it done at home.

I am so happy that my puppy is covered!
I love the ease for submitting claims. I just ask my vet to submit the claim and then I wait for Nationwide to get back to me. I also like the ease of receiving money back auto-deposit into my bank account. PLUS... I love that my dog is covered!

Pet-focused; pet-friendly insurance
I have used various pet insurance companies. Nationwide is by far the best. The ease of use in submitting claims, simplified plans, and the fact that they don’t play games by changing your plan every year if you submit claims for your animals. They are ethical.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
