Easy & Affordable!
Since he was a puppy, my dog Ruggles has had to go to the vet almost every other month due to either illness, injury, or routine checkups. He's got the WORST luck! At six months old, he was bitten at doggy daycare and ended up having several stitches and was prescribed an antibiotic for his bite. Shortly thereafter, he had a severe systemic drug reaction to the antibiotic - so severe that our primary care vet (and several emergency vet specialists, including a canine immunologist/allergist) feared that he wouldn't be able to survive if we didn't find a treatment that worked fast. From there, he's had appointments and follow-ups ever since to first manage his condition and then, thankfully, to monitor his now full recovery!
As a young professional with loads of college loan debt, I was struggling to keep up with the large vet payments I'd have to make when I'd take him in not to mention the expensive medications. Thankfully, I was able to purchase Nationwide pet insurance for him to help offset the continuous vet bills and it was the best decision I've ever made. I've been able to save hundreds of dollars just in the first year and a half I've had it!
Ruggles is now healthy and thriving and, I have peace of mind that I can afford to care for him properly!
