Fast and effective
My baby had a terrible month of treatment that ended in surgery and cost me more money than I’ve ever had to shell out at one time. Nationwide processed my claim in about two weeks and I received everything back. I almost cried out of relief when I got the notice. Worth every cent I pay per month for this insurance. Thank you <3

Best decision made
My baby had pneumonia that lingered and required 2 xrays and 3 courses of antibiotics before it’s all cleared up. I did not have to worry about the vet bills, which quickly added up, on top of worrying about my boy too. And that’s how it should be! If your pet’s well being is your number 1 priority, having insurance with Nationwide will allow you to take good care of them without additional financial worries.

The processing of claims is taking way too long.
The processing of on online claim submission is taking at times a month maybe even longer. The turnaround processing of claims needs to be improved.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
