Excellent service, thank you!

I have really appreciated your efficient review and reimbursement for the health maintenance and treatment of my two dogs. They are family to us and it is much easier to budget monthly payments than to get surprise (and usually higher) vet bills. Thanks again!

Love this insurance

Having had Roodie insured for years with no claims, it has been so gratifying knowing that the coverage is there for him with his recent back issues. And I can't tell you how much I appreciate the contacts, asking how he's doing and knowing that there is an entire team rooting for him. That is why his 'brother' and 'sister' are covered by NW Pet as well.

Fabulous

We have Nationwide Pet Insurance for our 200lb Irish Wolfhound Groot! I have to say this insurance program has saved us and our dog numerous times especially during this last health scare when Groot got pneumonia and almost did not survive. We have never had a dog where we have had to take advantage of the insurance as often as we have and it has truly been a blessing. We will always insure our current and future animals through Nationwide and have been recommending them to everyone we know! Thank you Nationwide for your great customer service and being there for us during some of our most stressful pet moments!

Nationwide Pet insurance is a life saver.

I am very grateful that I took out this pet insurance. I was dissatisfied at first when you didn’t pay the first claim, stating it was pre existing She had diarrhea after being spade which I found out is somewhat normal. She hasn’t had any since. She was on ID food per the previous vet, and she’s been off of it for at least a year. Other than that, Nationwide is awesome.

I think having insurance on Matisse is the best decision I have ever made

i love my Matisse dearly and feel secure that I can provide the best care for him in his daily needs and when he becomes ill. I know that I can get the care that he requires.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
