Grateful and satisfied!

I have been a member for 3 years now with my dog and have been so pleased with the plan and the policy and all of the things that are covered. I just recently found out my dog needs special perscription food now for weight issues and Nationwide will cover the cost!! He could be on this for life so for the coverage I am thankful. The claims are easy to do and reimbursement is timely. I was however a little bit disappointed in the large increase in my plan this year. It is a pretty big increase and I am have to re-visit the plan I currently have. I recently reached out to claims regarding the dog food perscription because I wanted to be sure what I was submitting was acceptable and have not heard back. Overall my family and I are very please with Nationwide!

Excellent Plans to choose from.

I have my 3 dogs on this insurance. I'm very satisfied with " My pet protection with wellness " plan. It covers just about the majority of everything you need for your pet. Claims are very easy to fill out and they send you an email the next day, letting you know they received your claim. Very good insurance to get for your pet.

Always been easy to work with. If I had a complaint it would be that some claims take a little longer than others.

I've been with Nationwide for 5-6 yrs now and mostly pleased. I gave a 10 rating because even if I have a problem..it is taken care of very quickly & customer service is always understanding & extremely nice. Thank you for being there when I need you! :O)

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
