Ease of Service
Great ease of service. Vet sends Application to Nationwide and they handle the claim in a timely manner. We aren't involved until we receive and deposit the check.

Read the fine print!
Make sure you read the fine print. Quite a bit is not covered for the 1st year of service and we were left with paying more than 3000 out of pocket for things that would have been covered after the first year. This company wants to make sure they take enough of your money up front before they start covering anything major.

Payment reimbursement takes a bit 2 long
I like this insurance, but payment reimbursement takes a bit to long.
I also don't know why they do not cover prescription drugs.

Couple of things
rates are too high and they get worse every year at renewal, claims take too long for reimbursement

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
