Peace of mind
We are so thankful for our pet insurance that we have on all 3 of our dogs. While I've heard people say they could go for years without using it, I say but in those times of emergency it gives us such peace of mind to know we can take them to get the care they need. We previously had an uninsured dog and in a very short time spent thousands of dollars trying to save him and we said never again would we go without insurance on our dogs. I recommend this company all the time to people because it's been that good for us. On our recent emergency we had our $100 deductible out of the $1700 bill. Usually the entire balance is covered once we reach our deductible but in this case we started on a Sunday at our primary vet who then they sent us to an emergency hospital which caused us to max out the benefit for our pups illness so we ended up having to cover an additional $200 but it was far better than having that entire bill to cover on our own. Having experienced dog illness with and without insurance I can say we would never again be without pet insurance and VPI has been wonderful for us to deal with. I pay the bill on Care Credit and by the time I receive a bill I've been reimbursed from VPI.

Great insurance!!!!
Unfortunately, my pooch has had an emergency surgery and a major cut on the pad of his paw. Nationwide Pet Insurance has been there to help both times, and they even helped with his latest wellness visit. The claim process was super easy. I'm so thankful for this pet insurance!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
