Better plans were expected

My previous pet insurance did not have annual maximum coverage. Having dogs for many years, I know 5K for illness or injury will not be enough to provide the best possible healthcare. More options for additional coverage would have been appreciated. Additionally, while Nationwide is not the most expensive, there are better plans. I hope this can be negotiated with my employer next year.

Jesus Escobedo was professional

Jesus Escobedo was professional, kind, and personable throughout the call. He took the time to clearly explain the coverages for the dog we just adopted and helped upgrade my other dog’s policy so both plans match. Thank you for making sure my pups have the right coverage to ensure they receive the care they need.

The coverage is fine

The coverage is fine, but the person I worked with didn’t have the greatest customer service skills. I know it can be frustrating for your staff to answer questions all day, probably the same questions over and over, but it was very obvious that I was annoying to the person I worked with. Our pets are our family and we just want to make good decisions. It would have helped if the person I worked with showed a little compassion.

pre-existing condition bullshit

You told me to send medical records of the last 12 months, I sent you everything since establishing care, so 26 months, and you are claiming he has a preexisting condition and won't even cover wellness exams because he had giardia once when he was a puppy, long before the 12 month period you requested. It's as if you were to withhold insurance from a grown up because he had chickenpox when he was a child.

Monthly Cost

Policies start at approximately $12 per month.
