Nationwide has been great to us

For one whole year, our dog has had one issue after another even though she is relatively young. Right now she seems to be in good health with one med and prescription dog food. As each new diagnosis was made and physically therapy administered, Nationwide has supported us financially. I tell everyone with a new pet to give Nationwide a look.

Easy to file claim via App, and quick to receive benefit

The ability to use the App to file the claim has made it so much easier to file claims and the direct deposit from Chase is wonderful. I encourage friends who ask about pet insurance to seriously look at Nationwide.

Scam!

I have never agreed to sign up this pet insurance. The sales person said he just going to put my card info there so if I later decide to have the pet insurance It will be easier for him to process. However he didn’t get my permission. Now I just noticed my card has been changed for 13months without me agreeing anything. And I didn’t even know I had pet insurance. Wtf!!! And they said they couldn’t refund the money cuz it’s over a year but I have never signed up. See you at the court!!!

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
