Look Elsewhere To Insure Your Furry Friend

I received a letter cancelling my 9 1/2 yoa rottweiller’s insurance after being a customer through 2 dogs over 19 years. The letter stated that they were no longer going to be insuring dogs in my state because of the rising costs for healthcare of dogs in the state. This has been found to be an outright lie after speaking with friends that I referred to Nationwide. I also attempted to insure a made-up puppy to see if it would be accepted for insurance - it was. During the life of my dog’s coverage before cancellation the premium rose over several hundred percent. Nationwide was able to stay in the black cash flow. Attempts to secure comparable insurance on a 9-1/2 year old dog with pre-existing conditions is totally impossible.

MAKE SURE YOU GET WHAT YOU SIGNED UP FOR

The coverage I signed up for is not what I have coverage for. Make it make sense. Why would I sign up for injury/illness and not wellness. I only signed up so I could have her wellness coverage since shots and meds are not cheap. I added the injury/illness because before insurance my dog ate somethings she shouldn't have. So, I decided to pay extra to add it. I filed my claims and now they tell me I Don't have wellness.
