So glad I signed up for pet insurance!
Owning a dog is crazy expensive. Every vet visit is an automatic $300. So it's nice to know that we can get most or all of that back and not go completely broke caring for our little Boyo.

Overall
Customer service is one of the best that I have ever dealt with. Sophie is on the Major Medical Plan and I pay $789.00 a year. This policy has been great this year because she has been sick a lot but most years I loose money on this policy. I realize this is the reason you have insurance but I feel the 100.00 you pay for additional test: blood,X-rays and EKG should pay more as well as the flea control and heart worm prevention. In most cases you pay the same for your wellness plus plan as you do for your wellness max plan. I feel the wellness max should pay more than the plus plan.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
