We are so happy that we chose Nationwide for our dog, they are the best!

Nationwide has provided the best possible coverage for our dog. We chose a wellness plan because we wanted no worries about anything she needed or might need in her lifetime. Nationwide responds quickly to claims and the speed at which they are processed is great. I have recommended Nationwide to many people, solicited or not😄

A lifesaver

I have Scottish Terriers and they have a history of having health problems. My two are no exception. Having health insurance has been a lifesaver for us. I don’t know how we would of ever paid for this last hospitalization. The claim process is easy and the EOB and payments are fast. There have been a few hiccups in payments and coverage but they were resolved in a timely manner. I will never not have health insurance for my pups and I will always have Nationwide.

Easy claims, great customer service and caring individuals on the vet helpline!

Claims submission is simple with fast turnaround. When I called the vet helpline panicking about my sick pup at 6:30am on a Sunday morning they were caring and helpful to ease my concerns and give me advice on how to proceed.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
