It'll be there when you need it

This is my second time using Nationwide Pet Insurance, the first time was for my lovebird Snowball. Now it is for my cat Brigade. Excellent communication, fast transactions and great coverage. Vet bills can add up very fast and this helps a lot. I appreciate all that Nationwide Pet Insurance does!!

Wish they covered more

I just wish the limits were higher for each section. Costs are rising for vet visits but insurance limits aren't.

Easy, quick submissions with timely reimbursement

I've been really happy with the ease of submitting a claim and speed of being reimbursed. I assumed (wrongly) nothing would be reimbursed, but it turns out Nationwide has been very easy to work with. thanks!

Shopping for a new providet

Shopping for a new provider for both dogs. You increased the premium for our 2 year old by FIFTY percent !!!

Very impressed with this insurance....honest and timely reimbursement!

I was so pleased with Nationwide. It could not be easier to submit a claim, and I was paid 100% of what the insurance was supposed to cover. No headaches, no monkey business!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
