Great knowing my cat is covered in an emergency

My cat was so sick, urinating blood and in pain with a UTI. It was Labor Day, all the vets were closed and I didn’t know how to help her. She was crying, constantly urinating and bleeding. I called the emergency vet and they told me to come in. They warned me about the cost of emergency service but I had to help my cat, so we went. The doctors needed to do xrays and ultrasounds to figure out what was wrong. I knew if would be expensive but I had peace of mind knowing I had insurance to cover some of it. At the end, we received antibiotics and a huge bill. My cat finished her course of antibiotics and is feeling better. Nationwide took care of us, with only $50 out of pocket. I feel so much better knowing we are covered in case of any emergency.

Insensitive

The last claim I submitted for my dog was for is care at the end of his life, I just got a follow up email saying that Nationwide hoped he was getting better. I realize this is probably an auto mailer, but my dog died, he’s not going to get better.
