Ownership Confusion
Hobbes policy information got messed up when my former wife and I transferred ownership from me to her and then reversed the ownership back to me. Some claims were caught in the system and not paid. No one’s fault. Just a process SNAFU. Once I got the right person on the phone she pushed all the right buttons and BAM; everything was fixed, the checks were cut and have been received. Great job.

Good Coverage, cumbersome and long claim process
I'm comparing your claim process to previous insurance held. It's cumbersome to have to scan and then attach and email a copy of the claim form plus the vet receipt
All the information is on the vet receipt/invoice for services rendered, so why the extra claim form? My previous provider simply had an APP for the phone, as soon as I logged in, all my pet's information was already there and I only had to take a photo of the Vet Invoice, attach it to email and send. No writing down why I went to the vet, what the symptoms were, etc. It's all on the Vet Invoice!! Plus it seems to take several weeks, at minimum, for the claim to be processed versus with my previous provider I always received a settlement within two weeks, often only one week. So why did I switch providers? Because they didn't offer as full a coverage as you do...albeit at a higher price. All in all, I'm satisfied with Nationwide AllPet coverage but it would seem you could design an App for Android/iPhone to streamline the claim service and only require a photo of the invoice...this could be sent directly from the Vet Office.

Nationwide pet insurance is one of the best investments we have ever made. The website makes things incredibly easy and efficient. There are so many benefits to adding this pet insurance. I would recommend Nationwide pet iinsurance to all my friends and family.

Coverage
Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
