The easiest, most convenient claim ever!!

I have had Nationwide insurance for my pet a long time now with the hopes that I would not have to use it. Now that my is over 9 years old, he needs some medical attention - probably similar to human seniors. Nationwide was easy to file claims with, and the deductible was also easy to fulfill. I am so happy that I stuck with the insurance plan!! Thank you!

Amazing, friendly, quick, and easy service!

Wonderful service! We have a 3 yr old husky who has had several visits to the vet this year and Nationwide Pet Insurance has made it easy to submit claims and help afford all of the medical bills! Had to contact customer service regarding some questions on our new policy and they were very friendly and knowledgeable! Couldn't ask for better service! Wish all insurance companies were this easy to deal with!

Help when we need it most

Nationwide has helped us deal with a lot of unexpected issues with our wonderful rescue dog. Logan has been able to get the care he needs thanks to his insurance plan. We are grateful that we are able to make the best medical decisions by having the security of an insurance plan. Every friend who has adopted a pet since we got Logan has bought a Nationwide Plan because of our experiences.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
