Great coverage

So, I have the wellness and accidental on my bulldog and it's been worth it. I work at a hospital bed that offers let plans. Nationwide has helped pay for vet visits, shots, and medications. Yes, his deductible had to be met first but it's been a life saver.

Overall good coverage, great clim filling, awesome customer service

We looked in to pet insurance because we have 2 very active rescue dogs and we wanted to know that if an injury came up we would have the support to help us through costly vet bills. One of our dogs is insured through Nationwide. There are a lot of options out there and I felt like nationwide had the most comprehensive coverage plan with ease of registering and claim filling. The only disappointing factor of Nationwide's coverage is that our second dog was denied because of pre-existing medical condition that she may have tested positive for, out of this country before getting rescued. She since has had no positive tests since and the disease was related to the poor conditions and environment she was in. It is disappointing for a company who wants to treat animals like family members to discriminate against rescue dogs. There are over 2million dogs who need rescuing and companies should consider the backgrounds they come from to support a healthy pet population. Ultimately, we had to utilize a different insurance company for our other dog which was extremely disappointing.
