I decided to call the 24/7 Vet Helpline because I felt helpless around 9 pm on a Saturday when my vet was closed. I knew the only option was to go to the emergency room if things were bad. Obviously I was on the fence about bringing her to the emergency vet because I was unsure how serious the injury was. There were no visible signs of an injury, but you could tell there was discomfort. After consulting with the helpline, they recommended going after reviewing all the symptoms and that waiting could cause more harm. Additionally, it would give me a sense of relief.
