Nationwide has been there for me and my pet through so many health issues .. I mean my last two pets ... really wonderful servic

Since signing up with Nationwide, it's a feeling of comfort and ease in getting reimbursed in a timely fashion which I so appreciate. I started out with a nominal fee and increased it each year which gives me so much better coverage now ... and the simple act of faxing the bill/invoice from my vet and being able to track on line that it was rec'd., and then what the reimbursement will be and when it will be mailed out is invaluable. I recommend Nationwide to all my petparent friends and they are very happy to join the Nationwide Pet Insurance family as I like to think of you. Thank you...

Nationwide provides excellent coverage and wellness plans for my two Weimaraner's!

Wellness reimbursement is amazing

Having insurance that covers my best friend in sickness and in health is a game changer. I purchased 12 months of flea and tick protection as well as heartworm prevention and received reimbursement for 90% of the cost. This makes it so easy to make sure Hershey is getting the best care possible even when he's feeling great. Thank you Nationwide!

Monthly Cost

Policies start at approximately $12 per month.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
