Awesome insurance company
My dogs and myself thank you for your generosity in how you process claims. I shutter to think about the outcome if you were not by my side. I’ve have had many claims this year. Overall it has been an overall bad year.

very fair and understands your concerns
I recently rescued and had no knowledge of her medical condition. My vet and I had to start from scratch on her health. I wanted to have her check out completely meaning all test blood uti all of it. Nationwide wanted her health records a year back I did not have them and told them that. It took awhile but they finally realized that I had none and that and realize what they had was all they had to work with. I was concern that they would not cover her because of that, but they finally came through and did pay some claims.

My pet has better healthcare than I do!

I am very happy with my Nationwide Pet Insurance!!!
I have 3 pups and have had Nationwide Pet Insurance for many years. I have also had to USE my Nationwide Pet Insurance many times and I am always happy and grateful with their response and service!

Coverage
Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
