Do Not Buy Nationwide Insurance for your pet!

They claim not to raise their rates, but because I pay extra for the routine care policy, my rates doubles because they claimed I filed more claims than the average policy holder. Well, duh! That's the point of the routine care policy, isn't it? In 5 years I have not submitted a single claim for injury or sickness, yet I am penalized for utilizing the add-on routine care policy that I have to pay extra for! Nationwide are scammers that suck you in with false promises. Stay away!!!

Insurance Review

I really like how fast and easy it is to file a claim and the reimbursement process. It is very convenient. I like having the Whole Wellness and that way I know that most things will be covered and I don't have to worry about my pet. The only downside is that the premium price really jumped from the first year to the 2nd year and my pet is still young and I wasn't really able to get much help from customer services on why that was. I am also worried about how much it will change next year when it is time to renew my policy.

Excellent coverage

We thought my puppy swallowed the metal piece of a clothespin. She had to go to the vet and have X-rays done. I submitted the claim, thinking I would only get a few dollars back and Nationwide covered the whole claim. I was super happy getting that check.
