Will never go without pet insurance again!

Seriously, we will never go without pet insurance again. On a prior pet we learned the hard way racking up enormous vet bills. They are our children. And when it comes to vet care we will not sacrifice their well-being. Just knowing Nationwide is there brings us great comfort should an emergency arise.

Nationwide is on your side ...it’s TRUE! LOL

I have had 3 dogs insured through Nationwide for nearly 4 years. I had never had to submit a claim until now. In the last month, my Sheltie had to have 3 visits, 2 of them emergencies due to a foxtail in her ear. She’s now fine thank goodness. I was expecting the process of submitting my claims to be a hassle and I was so pleasantly surprised. I am really glad I have my dogs insured. I’m really grateful that my vet bills were not questioned and that the process was so easy. Thank you Nationwide!

I am so glad I purchased pet insurance!

We purchased pet insurance shortly after we brought home our new puppy. The process to select the right insurance option for us was easy and we received great customer service to aid our selection. The Nationwide Claims process is so simple and fast! Very thankful for the great service we are getting for our puppy!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
