Unparalleled coverage and customer service!

I have been extremely pleased with having Nationwide Insurance for my pet. They are the only ones in the industry to provide Wellness Coverage, and they pay claims their claims in a hassle-free and expedient manner. I feel safe and secure in having Nationwide Insurance for my pet!

Nationwide has been great so far for my little pup!

As is the case with any puppy, I've definitely had my share of visits to the vet, so it's been great to have Nationwide cover my back and make sure the little guy is staying on track!

Awesome Coverage for my little girl

My little Lhasa Apso is a little over 4 years old now. Poor thing has been through a lot. After she was just 1 year old, she was diagnosed with a liver shunt. I had surgery to correct the problem. At just under 4 years old, she was diagnosed with cancer in her mouth. I had surgery done again and she seems to be doing great. She has allergies all year round. I have gone through over the counter drugs, prescription pills, prescription drops, and now to a dermatologist to take steps to find out what to give her to stop the itch!! The moral of the story is if it were not for Nationwide, I'm not sure I would have been able to afford to have the surgeries that my little precious girl needed. My claims are processed very quick. I've only had 2 claims rejected and both were corrected very easily. Thank you Nationwide!!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
