Wouldn't be without Nationwide Pet Insurance!
I've never had ANY type of issue with Nationwide. It is a relief to know that I can provide healthcare for my kitty based on information from the vet, and not based solely on financial issue.

The best insurance for my baby

If you could pre approve necessary surgeries and treatments Nation wide pet insurance would be the best insurance out there
One of the most needed things is pre-approval for necessary medical procedures that would keep an animal from suffering. I believe that most people who pay for pet insurance do not have $2-5,000 laying around that they don't need. When a animal is hurt and require a medical intervention it is not fair to the animal to have to lay around in pain or possible further debilitation while the owner tries to come up with the needed cash - only to be reimbursed after the surgery. There should be a system of getting the medical intervention approved beforehand and then sending the check to the veterinarian rather than the owner so that the animal is cared for in an appropriate time frame and fraud can not take place.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
