The best pet insurance company I know of
My Paco was a really sick little boy. Nationwide just paid the claim, which took about 10 days or less. The claim was over 1800 and they paid all but a little over one hundred dollars. I have never had a problem with any claim I have submitted to them and there has been many. My Paco is about 13 1/2 years old and have many health issues. But he is doing much better now;. I would recommend Nationwide to anyone who is looking for pet insurance, and I always do.

I’m very happy and pleased of the way Nationwide works. For now the best insurance for my dog.
I’m very satisfied with the service Nationwide provides for my dog and also for me as a owner. The costs that are cover by the insurance is unbelievable amazing.
One thing I would like to change is the form to claim.
It would be nice to have a link on the website for the client to simply download the invoice and other requested documents or even take a simple photo of it and send it. Instead of having to print a form for every claim, fill out, scan it and send it for an email.

I wish my health insurance was as good as my dog's!
Thank you so much for checking in on Abbie. She is doing much, much better and is back to 100%. She had a very bad scare and we almost lost her but due to the great work of Veterinary Specialty Care and her vet, Dr. Kelli Klein, she was able to recover and is back to being her happy, healthy self.
I have told everyone about how great Nationwide is and how lucky we were to have your coverage so that all we had to worry about was Abbie and not the cost. You paid our claim immediately and thoroughly - I wish our health insurance worked as well!

This company is why you buy pet insurance
My dog has had quite a bit of bad luck but every time I feel like I'm not in this alone because of Nationwide. They process claims and payments quickly, their customer service is friendly, and their website is easy to use. I think all pet owners should have insurance, but specifically that they should have Nationwide Pet insurance.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at approximately $12 per month.
Coverage
Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
