Great!

Nationwide has been one of the best insurance policies I have ever had. The only reason I rated a 9 instead of a 10 is that it would be amazing to be able to pay at the time of service instead of having to submit a claim. But, even with that, my claims are paid very quickly and that helps a lot!

Phenomenal experience. Much better than my prior insurance provider.

Phenomenal experience. Much better than my previous pet insurance provider. All my claims have been addressed on time and the integration with VitusVet makes the claim filing process super easy. I have discussed this with my colleagues at Work and all of them say great things about Nationwide pet insurance.

Thank you Nationwide

I don't know what I would do without this pet insurance. I have a kitty cat that has many health problems and Nationwide has covered thousands of dollars in medical cost, things that I would never have been able to afford. We are forever grateful.

Worth every penny to have this coverage

I would never have a dog without this coverage. And I love being able to submit a claim through the app. Response times is fast!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
