I love nationwide pet insurance!

Nationwide Pet Insurance makes filing a claim very easy. I love the pre-filled forms and claim reimbursements through direct deposits. The turn time is quick. I would recommend nationwide pet insurance to all my family and friends. Actually, I currently do!

I recommend Nationwide pet insurance to everyone

I genuinely love Nationwide's pet insurance. I have the Whole Pet plus Wellness plan and I recommend it to everyone I know who has a pet. It's more expensive than some plans, but there's just a $100 deductible and then Nationwide pays 90% of all vet bills. I hit the deductible with just 6 months of flea medication. Very importantly, this plan covers dental cleanings, which is a rare thing to find. Even submitting claims couldn't be easier. I downloaded the VitusVet app to my phone, and I can use it to submit a claim in just a few minutes. I know I sound overly effusive, but I deeply appreciate the peace of mind this coverage gives me since my cat is indoor-outdoor.

Stellar Pet Insurance!

I don’t know what we would do without this insurance. It gives us such a peace of mind knowing we have coverage.

Question one claim: claim was sent in after caring for Miko. Miko is a combat rated, mobility service dog from wounds during the Vietnam war. I often go back to Vietnam and this past trip she went to Petsmart for 3 1/2 week stay. Upon returning, she had lost close to 4 lbs. She seemed weak and I was told she stayed indoors, small area, and never saw the sun for that whole stay. Upon returning home the, the next day she was not eating and vomiting. Rushed to the vet, they gave her fluids to help her and did a full x ray and physical to make sure she did not have something internally. She was put on anti biotics and it took several visits to bring her back to somewhat of a normal condition. They, at the boarder, stated they never took her outside to exercise. Siberians need daily exercise. I will never return her there again. I am not sure what else they were feeding her, but to loose close to 4 pounds?, plus no outdoor exercise? Then, weeks later i entered the VA hospital here in Boise for blood testing related to cancer from Agent orange. Miko went to another boarder for the day. Upon picking her up that evening, the owner came out and said Miko was being attacked by aggressive males and she was separated. Exactly 5 days later, Miko showed blood on the side of her neck, took her immediately to Broadway vet, they found puss and blood from a neck bite. She again went on antibiotics. She is recovering now after 4 weeks. There is a big problem here in Boise , Idaho with these type of boarding facilities. It is not a problem with Miko. These are not pre-existing conditions that these claims are being sent in for. The Broadway vet is addressing this claim by stating in writing the problem for $575.22 claim and will be sending in. I hope it is resolved. If it cannot be resolved, I will drop my insurance and find another one to work with and again fully insure Miko. Miko is a victim of poor boarding management here.
