Good insurance with a "but"...
This is good insurance but I really dislike the "payment chart" approach to it. I don't understand why she has to be a year old to get "real" coverage, not with the limitations on amounts that you have for puppies. Really annoying, especially in areas where costs run higher. Also--flea and tick and heart worm preventatives cost a lot more than your coverage. It's an "OK" policy, but not great.

So easy to file and so helpful to have!
I don't know what I'd do without our pet insurance. It's so comforting that I don't have to agonize about how much it will cost to keep my fur baby happy and healthy. Nationwide Pet Insurance is such a wonderful support for me. Claims are easy to file with an amazingly fast turnaround time. BEST choice for me and my little Sophie-girl!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
