It’s the best way to love your pet

It’s an extremely simple process and more than worth the cost no matter what the age of your pet is. It relieves the stress of knowing what to do if your pet is ill and whether you can afford the treatment because you know a good portion of the cost is covered

So relieved!

Poor little Tua had a double whammy. He had a horrible reaction to something he ingested and at the same time developed congestion. While both were totally unrelated he was treated for both and bounced back quickly. Of course after lab work, office visits, xrays, medications ,etc his bill added up! Thank goodness we took insurance out on him. We have two others that are elderly now and wish we would have done the same thing with them. Thank you Nationwide!!

So glad we have Pet Insurance

I’m glad we got this insurance, it has taken some of the stress out of having a senior pet. I almost cancelled it and so glad I didn’t as our cat Inka has hyperthyroidism and it really Helps paying for frequent blood work and monthly medicine. Claims are really easy now especially can be done right over your smart phone and payment is quick and flawless.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
