We Love Nationwide Pet Insurance!

We have been extremely happy with your pet insurance. Filing claims is simple, payment very quick and coverage is exceptional. Having such great insurance gives us peace of mind that our Pug will always be able to receive the care that he needs to grow into a healthy family member.

Nationwde has been great for Malia.

Malia see the Vet every 5-8 weeks for a shot concerning her itch. She doesn't like to take pills. She bites. She is scheduled for another shot on l9 Mar.

Outstanding service covering all agreed to costs in a timely manner.

Nationwide has provided ‘Happy’, our Yorkie , every covered claim that we have submitted. His health is well covered and we sleep easier knowing that our family member is well served if and when he needs health help. Thank you for living up to your end of our friendship.

Excellent

I have been very impressed with the ease of doing business with Nationwide Pet insurance. Mr. Floyd is a puppy and as such has had several medical events in addition to flea prevention medicines that quickly surpassed his deductible. Claims are easy to submit and have adjudicated quickly with reimbursement checks arriving shortly after. While I am delighted with my decision to buy pet insurance from Nationwide, I hope to submit less claims in the near future as Mr. Floyd reaches adulthood!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
