Nationwide is very customer serivice orintated...always prompt and makes it so easy.
I have had my 3 French bulldogs insured with Nationwide for a few years now. Their customer service is very personal and professional...always answers my questions and the claims are processed very promptly. When I lost one of my Frenchies a few months ago, with all the emotional stress and medical bills...I was really impressed by the prompt reimbursement in less than 2 weeks. It really makes a difference...! I have such confidence in Nationwide that I keep sending them new customer referrals...as I want all pet owners to know and experience their great service! Affordable with best coverage after looking into other insurance plans
- Great customer service
- Very responsive
- Submitting claims is SO EASY! Especially now that there's the only form, such a better process than my own health insurance
- They've helped out a lot with my dog's vet costs, wish they could covered 100% each time, but I don't think any insurance companies can, and I understand there's a limit

It’s the first time we purchased pet insurance and we truly could not be happier with our decision. It makes emergency visits and regular check ups easier.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
