Thankful that we have Pet Insurance and this one is the best!

Our 'gotcha' date for our sweet pup was July 15. We are head over heels in love with her! She's had several trips to the vet, in addition to her wellness checkups, and I'm so grateful that we have the BEST pet insurance ever! Our premiums are worth every penny for our sweet furbaby, Millie!

I feel I am not alone when my pet is sick

I choose Nationwide Pet Insurance because my company provides some employee discount, but I didn't expect it can be any different than any insurance companies until my cat suddenly frequently goes to his litter box. I first tried the online chat to see if we really need to go to a vet since Covid-19 is out there. The rep asked me to take Tutu to a vet immediately after I told her what I have observed. Thanks to her! Tutu is found a bladder stone that day. But since it is not bad, the doctor started conservative treatment for him. The treatment is still on and we have seen progress! After my claim is processed, Nationwide sent me email to check if Tutu is feeling better, which makes me feel really warm.

Always extremely helpful and fast!

Nationwide always provides the best claim support for our animals and allows us to have minimal stress over the excruciatingly large bills that may come out of accidents. Puppies can be a handful, but in Nationwide's hands, we have an extra hand. Thanks!

Prompt service

I called to get instructions on making a claim and was greeted promptly with a very kind man on the other end who guided me through the steps online. He wished Boots well before we hung up. We received our promised reimbursement in a timely and fair manner. I would highly recommend Nationwide pet insurance!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
