Exceeded my expectations by far.

Rosie is our first pet and I had no idea pet insurance even existed. I became aware through my corporate benefits package and signed up. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first start submitting claims but I was quickly amazed. The process was extremely quick and easy. Everything was being covered and the payments were made way ahead of the expectations set during submission. I have already recommended Nationwide pet insurance to multiple pet owners.

Absolutely the best! True life savers!

I cannot express how greatful we are to have you in our corner. I honestly do not know how we could have gone thru this without you. You truly are worth every dime spent on our policy. We have a house full of Irish wolfhounds, three to be exact. And we look at them as our family and will do anything and everything we can for them. Which is why we have your insurance. Heart breaking as it is to say we had pneumonia hit our family members this past winter and we were able to save one, but had to help our other girl cross over the bridge. On all days, Christmas. We are still devastated from our loss of our beautiful Honor. Our other girl Heaven is now fighting her second round of pneumonia and so far doing well. This has and is costing more money than we could have afforded with out you. I thank God every day for making the right decision and going with your company. Not once have I had to cut any medical care short for lack of money. And I can say, I truly have done any and everything I can for them. And knowing this gives us some comfort. I am very happy with your prompt pay and wonderful customer service. Believe me I have been your biggest advocate on pet insurance. I have even told some breeders that it should be mandatory in their contracts. As for us, I'm praying this will be the last of the pneumonia once we get her over it AGAIN. We are so ready for pack to be back healthy and happy. Thank you agian from the bottom of our hearts! The Powers family

Thanks for processing the claim in a timely manner.

Pan has recovered very well. It was stressful for a while, but knowing we had insurance relieved some of it.

Best use of my money....EVER

My employer offers pet insurance as a additional voluntary benefit and the monthly payment is deducted from my paycheck. I couldn’t be happier that I chose this. My Rylee was lethargic, unable to regulate his temperature (cold ears and tummy), vomiting twice a day. On the 3rd day of this I took him to the veterinarian, they did some tests and recommended a stay in a 24 hour animal hospital for more tests and observation. This 3 day stay cost $2000. Once they found out what was wrong (Addison’s Disease) and got him on the right meds, I took Rylee home and used the VitusVet app to submit my claim. 10 days later, I had an $1800 reimbursement waiting for me. I had a message from Nationwide checking on Rylee to make sure he was ok. This company actually cares about it’s insured. I even upped my coverage to include the Wellness option for non-accident/emergency on both my pups. Far too often I see posts online about people not being able to afford their vet bills and opting to just put their pets down. This is the better option.
